Social Activities

Our popular social groups offer local visually impaired people the chance to get together, meet new people and take part in a wide range of activities that we are proud to say is increasing.
Some of the regular activities we hold are;
  • 10 pin bowling
  • Retinal Support Group
  • Pub Nights
  • Tech Advice and Support
We’re open to suggestions about the events we could deliver, if you fancy trying something, or have an idea for an event then please get in touch!

Pub Night

Our pub night is every month at The Railway Pub in Birmingham. This is a great opportunity to meet new people in a relaxed atmosphere down the pub.
Food is available from the bar and staff and volunteers are on hand to help.
Friends or family are more than welcome to come along.

Retinal Support Group

You are not alone... If you have a retinal eye condition, come and join our social group. It is a chance to meet new people, and have a coffee and a chat with others.
The group is held every month on a Saturday at the Birmingham Vision office.
