New Venue for Pub Night
Following feedback about previous venues the Birmingham Vision Team looked to find a new pub to hold its popular pub night.
The team didn’t need to go to far from the office to find the Railway Pub on Hill Street Birmingham as a potential venue. After meeting with Donal Walsh the manager and his friendly team and carrying out all the usual risk assessments and checks, it was agreed that we would use the Railway Pub, which as its name suggests is close to one of Birmingham’s busiest train stations, New Street. The location was vital in securing a new venue, as the Railway has great access from trains and taxis.
The team at the Railway pub were so helpful and friendly in ensuring that the night went without a hitch!
As with any great night down the pub, there was the pub quiz!
This included a music round, brain teaser which tested the brain of our new CEO Emma, and then questions on football which prompted lively debate between Villa, Blues and West Brom fans! Geography and the Eurovision also featured in the quiz.
The raffle prizes were donated from The Old Rep, Nandos and Odeon Cinemas of which we are greatly thankful for, as were the lucky winners!
Meeting new friends
It can always be a bit daunting going to a new place and meeting new people, but for those who attended for the first time ‘great time, and a really good laugh’
Mr H of Birmingham said;
“It was a really good night, I enjoyed everything, thanks to everyone for all your help, nice to see everyone, nice to see all the lovely Birmingham Vision team: you all doing an amazing job, you all go above and beyond”
Jordan joined proceedings with his DJ mixing desk, putting some top club DJ’s to shame with his great choice of music to get people singing along. Thanks as always to Jordan for coming along and making the night so much fun!
